What’s inside:
1 order contains one pot.
Each kit is packaged in a 2 x 2 inch tall compostable fiber cup made from bamboo and unbleached plant fiber. Each cup/pot contains a mini packet of seeds with instructions for planting, a colorful plant marker and a peat pellet. The fiber pot is topped with a ” saucer” lid which doubles as a pot base. A white card stock circle pictures each vegetable.
Each kit includes “fun facts” about each vegetable.
Easy planting instructions are included in the seed packet.
The vegetable seeds are all chosen because they are easy to grow. We want kids to be successful with growing their first vegetable.
Options for seeds:
Carrot seeds – orange carrot seeds
Pumpkin seeds – 3 seeds for small, round orange pumpkins
Cherry tomato seeds – 5 to 10 red cherry tomato seeds
Bush beans – 4 seeds, a mix of yellow and green beans
Orange mini bell peppers – 5 to 10 seeds for “lunchbox” size sweet orange peppers
Lettuce seeds – a mescalin mix of green and red lettuce
